Sisters...a new Kiss Me layout

Good morning everyone! I have a layout to share with you today featuring the new Kiss Me collection from Bella Blvd. It's one of the featured projects on their blog today This is the new Valentines collection that will start arriving in stores the first part of November. This collection is adorable! My favorite thing about this collection is the versatility. You can use it for everyday layouts or Valentines projects. I did a layout about my nieces. The photos melt my heart. I love these little ladies so much!
I love the huge polka dots in this collection. I've also used the polka dots in the Thankful collection in a similar way.
I thought this sentiment was perfect for this layout.

Isn't that the most precious photo of my two lil ladies!
And here's the completed layout! Thanks for taking time to visit my blog today.

Have a great weekend :)

Choose Happiness

Happy Tuesday everyone! It's a cold, rainy, windy, day here in Idaho. It's so nice to see some rain *finally* it's been way too long! I'm spending the morning with my sister and her kiddos. I love all my little people. They make me so happy!

That's something I've been thinking about lately, happiness. I came across a quote the other day on Pinterest. It's very simple but it caught my attention.

Choose Happiness

I've thought a lot about this lately and this is something that I think is so important and I want to impress on my kids. There's always a reason to be unhappy (the neighbors dog drug garbage all over my front yard, there are bills stacked to the ceiling, laundry and dishes are out of control, and the kids are cranky and fighting) BUT there are always reasons to be happy as well (it's finally raining, there's a new box of scrappy stuff ready to be played with, grocery shopping is done for the week, the kiddos made it to the bus on time, I have a nice warm beautiful home that I love, I have been blessed with 3 amazing kiddos that I love more than imaginable, I am married to the best guy on the planet, I have a nice warm cozy bed to sleep in, I am blessed to live so close to all my family, I have the most adorable nieces and nephews, I have a pile of great books to read on my nightstand,...) I could keep going, but my point is that there is a choice in whether you are feeling happy or feeling unhappy!

So, I choose happiness! What about you? I hope you will choose happiness too! I do have a layout to share with you today. It kinda follows the theme of my post today. I created a page about how dishes, laundry, cooking, and cleaning, can be a drag but that I do it because I love my kiddos and I try to remember why I do what I do everyday...it's all for them.
I shopped my stash for the supplies for this layout....lots of manufactures and lots of new and old products.

 Here's the entire layout:
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope that in some way you've found some inspiration by visiting today!

Good Morning...Happy Friday!

Good Morning everyone! Before I run out the door to go spend the day with my sister and her kiddos I wanted to share a layout with you.

When I created this layout I was stepping out of the box. I usually don't use spray mist and I've never used letters as a mask before. I tried it because I wanted to create a large dramatic title.
This layout is all about my little guy and how he sits on the front step waiting and waiting when someone is coming to visit us. The photos are what I love about this because it's a sight I see all the time. He loves waiting on the front step for visitors.
Have a great day and a great weekend. I'll be spending time with family and friends and getting some time to create!
Thanks for stopping by.

I'm an Aunt x 2 and a layout to share

It's been a crazy busy couple of weeks at our house. I got a new niece & nephew in the last two weeks. My nephew is doing great. I don't have a photo of him...yet. My niece is doing fantastic and is so adorable. She gives the best snuggles. Isn't she the sweetest thing. Her mommy has had lots of complications but is doing well now. I'm such a lucky aunt/sister. I'm so glad they are both healthy and doing well now.

Anyway, this little lady and her mommy are the reason I have been MIA in the blogging world. Things are settling down and I have a few minutes (with this lil lady laying on my lap) to share a project today.

This is a layout I did for my little lady. She is an *amazing* kiddo. I really do feel lucky to have her. My favorite part of this layout is the striped background. I created it with lots of washi tapes, glitter tape, ribbon, and fabric trims.

I love the extra texture that all the layers on the background give this layout. I used some Jillibean canvas flowers, My Minds Eye stickers and flowers, Studio Calico wood veneer, and a few chipboard accents to embellish this layout.

Thanks for stopping by. I would love to hear from YOU, make sure you leave a comment, I'll answer. I promise!
I hope you have a great day....until next time :) I

Celebrating World Card Making Day with Bella Blvd

Happy World Card Making Day! I hope that you have a little time to create a few cards today. You will want to make time to hop on over to Bella Blvd. They are offering some goodies and there will be new cards for you to drool over every hour. The Design Team has been busy creating all kinds of goodies for you to see.
I created this card earlier this week using some of my Bella Blvd goodies. I used a whole lot my favorite product.....decorative tape! I used strips of it to make the background for this card. I simply placed the strips at an angle on my card base to create the background.

Then I embellished with a journaling card, chipboard shapes, some stitching, and a button. I love how it turned out and I hope that it will put a smile on someones face on their special day.

Thanks for stopping by; have a great weekend!

I'm featured on the Bella Blvd Blog today.

Hi, thanks for stopping by! I'm excited to be featured on the Bella Blvd blog today. They are introducing all the new designers and today it's my turn. I'm still in shock...I'm thrilled to be part of this amazing team of ladies.

I'm excited to share a couple of layouts with you today.

I adore the Thankful line from Bella. The warm bold colors are my favorite to work with.
My favorite part of this layout is the hand stitching, I wanted the circles to stand out and make the layout unique.
One thing that I really love about Bella is the abundance of boy themed products. I love the girly stuff but I have to be realistic...I have 2 boys and 1 girl....

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you'll come back soon :) Have a happy fall day :)
